OK, my Dad used to tell me that you don't get anything for nothing in this world, so you want to know what the catch is.  Well, there really isn't any.   In this case everyone gets something.  You get some free music and I get some marketing out of the deal, plus I also get the satisfaction of knowing that other trombonists are suffering with this piece besides me!

I wrote this piece a long time ago -- maybe I'll run a contest sometime to guess when -- and I've never performed it.  It's a great practice piece and gives me a good reality check anytime I think I'm improving.  It's only 26 bars, is very idiomatic for tenor trombone and really difficult.  (Now everyone is going to e-mail me and tell me they sight-read it and nailed it on the first try!)   Anyway, I thought it would be fun to put out there.  If you'd like a nice looking printed copy, complete with cover page, please use the Sackbut Music Order Form.
